On the evening of February 11, the "Qianjiang's Steeds March Forward, Creating Brilliance Together" 2025 Touching Qianjiang Award Ceremony, hosted by the Qianjiang District Committee and the Qianjiang District Government, and organized by the Qianjiang District Publicity Department and Hanqing Cultural Industry Group, was held at the Conference Center of Qianjiang Central Hospital.

The ceremony honored the following individuals and groups with the 2025 "Touching Qianjiang" Awards: "Fire Starter Builder" Lyu Wenyi, "Great Doctor Builder" Wang Dong, "Glorious Builder" Yan Jing, "Guardian Builders" Wang Changsheng and Gong Mingyuan, "Peace Builder" Xiang Yeqin, as well as the Chongqing Institute of Paleontology, the Shandong Rizhao medical expert counterpart assistance team to Qianjiang, the Qianjiang team at the National Paralympic and Special Olympic Games, Chongqing Qianjiang Middle School, the Qianjiang District Anti-Fraud Center, and others.

The ceremony was divided into three chapters: "Letters of Spring," "Letters of Mountains and Rivers," and "Letters of the Future." It opened with a prelude video titled "Qianjiang's Steeds March Forward" and an overture performance, "High-speed Train to Spring." A variety of acts followed, including a situational skit "Beautiful Qianjiang Village Live Training Camp," a cultural tableau "Heart of Wuling • Elegant Qianjiang," a children's dance "Dragon & Horse Adventure," a women's group dance "Blossom," an acrobatic show "Splendid Qianjiang," a musical selection "Falling Mulberry Leaves," a situational song and dance "The Builders," a medley of songs and dances "Festive Rhymes," and a collective recitation "Moving Forward Hand in Hand with Qianjiang," bringing the gala to repeated climaxes. The evening concluded with a large-scale song and dance "Creating Brilliance Together."

In his address, the main leader of the Qianjiang District Committee stated: Looking back, it is struggle that has forged Qianjiang's spiritual coordinates. More than thirty years ago, the spirit of "willing to work hard rather than suffer in hardship" sounded a clarion call in those difficult years. With that stubborn refusal to admit defeat and that tenacity defying fate, the people of Qianjiang, through hard work with their own hands, broke through the mountains and blazed a path of self-reliance and striving. More than thirty years later, the people of Qianjiang have inherited that spirit of never giving up, striving continuously, and vying for excellence, cultivating a host of heroes who move the people of Qianjiang. They have written extraordinary chapters as ordinary individuals and shouldered the responsibilities of the era through dedication and struggle. From "seeking survival" to "pursuing development" and then to "creating the future," the questions of the times have changed, but the spirit of hard work, united struggle, and unremitting effort never fades.

"In 2025, we wrote a splendid answer for Qianjiang through struggle, and the construction of the central urban area has gained full momentum. This year is the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan and a critical year for transforming that momentum into tangible achievements. Standing at a new starting point, struggle is calling for a brand-new departure in 2026," the leader said. "On the new journey, struggle must be measured by 'breakthroughs.' Qianjiang must seize the moment to convert the dividends of high-speed rail, our industrial foundation, and public morale into powerful momentum to break into the city's top ten and regain the top position in the region, making Qianjiang once again the leader of the area. On the new journey, struggle must be supported by 'projects.' This year is the 'Year of Project Construction.' We must make 'solid work, daring work, and desperate work' the defining traits of Qianjiang. The entire district must pool its efforts to complete twenty flagship projects, thereby reinforcing the city's 'four pillars and eight beams' and strengthening the 'hard backbone' of development. On the new journey, struggle must be grounded in 'perseverance.' Urban renewal, industrial revitalization, governance improvement, and people's livelihood enhancement—each of these is an endurance race. We must maintain focus, sustain our efforts, never slacken, and solidly engrave the grand blueprint onto the land of Qianjiang."
